A driver of a locally made three-wheeler, known as a Nosimon, was killed in a road accident when his vehicle collided head-on with an engine-run auto-van on the Narail-Magura road in the district this afternoon. The deceased was identified as Jamirul Khan, 50, son of Khoka Khan, a resident of Burikhali village under Auria union of Narail Sadar upazila.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, police and local sources reported that the accident occurred when a cattle-laden Nosimon collided head-on with an auto-van around 4:30 pm, leaving Jamirul killed on the spot. Officer-in-Charge of Narail Sadar Police Station, Md. Wali Mia, confirmed the incident and stated that police visited the scene.
He mentioned that after completing the legal procedures, the body would be handed over to the family.
