1,81,854 Candidates to Appear for SSC Exams Under Dinajpur Board

Dinajpur: 1,81,854 students will appear at the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dinajpur this year. Deputy controller of exams of the board Jahurul Islam Pramanik confirmed that the candidates would sit for the exams at 283 centers across eight districts under the board, beginning on April 21.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the number of regular candidates is 1,37,286, while irregular candidates total 44,378. With the examinations starting tomorrow, board officials and center secretaries have convened a meeting to ensure the smooth conduct of the tests.



A detailed breakdown shows that 18,662 candidates will participate in the examinations in 53 centers under the Rangpur district, 15,323 in 42 centers under Gaibandha district, 9,706 in 27 centers under Nilphamari district, 9,674 in 35 centers under Kurigram district, 3,702 in 21 centers under Lalmonirhat district, 24,555 in 60 centers under Dinajpur district, 12,736 in 23 centers under Thakurgaon district, and 5,313 in 22 centers under Panchagarh district.



Professor Borhan Uddin, Controller of Exams of the board, assured that all preparations have been made to conduct the examinations peacefully.
