Agargaon: Liberation War Affairs Minister Ahmed Azam Khan today visited the Liberation War Museum in the city’s Agargaon area. He was accompanied by State Minister Ishraque Hossain and Secretary Md. Ashraful Islam. During the visit, the Minister and the accompanying delegation were guided through various galleries of the museum by museum trustees Mofidul Haque, Dr. Sarwar Ali, and Tepa Majumdar.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Minister was briefed about the various memorabilia, documents, and historical presentations preserved at the museum related to the 1971 Liberation War. After concluding the museum visit, the Minister remarked on the importance of the current presentations and collections at the Liberation War Museum in highlighting the nation’s history.
The Minister expressed that there is potential to enhance the museum by incorporating more events and information from the Liberation War. He urged those involved to take the necessary steps to enrich and make the museum more objective.
