PM Exchanges Pleasantries with Hajj Pilgrims at Ashkona Camp

Dhaka: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman visited the Ashkona Hajj Camp in the city and exchanged pleasantries with the Hajj pilgrims tonight. The premier arrived at the Hajj Camp around 10:50pm and talked to pilgrims, hugging them and shaking hands.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tarique Rahman, who is also the ruling BNP chairman, joined a munajat (prayer) at the camp, wishing for the successful completion of the Hajj rituals. The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate this year’s Hajj flights at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) at 11:30pm tonight.



Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Houssain (Kaikobad) and Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain accompanied the Prime Minister during the visit to the Hajj Camp.
