Hajee mohammad danesh science and technology university: Education Minister Dr. ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon has assured that no meritorious candidate will be excluded from teacher recruitment under any circumstances.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Milon emphasized his commitment to ensuring a fair recruitment process while addressing an orientation event for new students at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU). He stated that any weaknesses in the recruitment process would be thoroughly examined, even at a micro level, to prevent the exclusion of deserving candidates. The minister also mentioned that corrective actions would be taken if such incidents had occurred in the past.
Dr. Milon highlighted the government’s dedication to supporting students’ development and reiterated that achieving excellent results should be a priority. He noted that public university students benefit from government funding, with each student costing approximately Taka 8 lakh annually. As beneficiaries of public funds, students have a responsibility to the nation, and the minister urged them to make the most of their time at the university.
The orientation event was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Enamul Haque, and attended by notable figures including Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad Akhtaruzzaman Mia, local parliament members Manjurul Islam, Sadik Riaz Chowdhury Pinak, Syed Jahangir Alam, Pro-VC Prof. Shafiqul Islam Sikder, and Treasurer Prof. M. Jahangir Kabir.
