Rajshahi: A mobile app named ‘Fuel Management’ has been launched in Rajshahi to streamline fuel management and simplify services for users. The decision to implement this new system was made during a discussion meeting held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office. This initiative is set to commence on an experimental basis starting tomorrow.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the meeting was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Kazi Shahidul Islam, with the attendance of filling station owners and senior administrative officials. The app aims to enhance transparency and accountability in the fuel supply process by requiring designated personnel at fuel pumps to scan the vehicle’s registration number before dispensing fuel.
This new system does not require users to register separately, ensuring that the general public can easily access this service. The initiative is expected to improve the efficiency of fuel distribution and provide a more reliable service to the citizens of Rajshahi.
