Rain Forecasted for Multiple Regions in Bangladesh

Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted that rain would occur in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Met office bulletin issued this morning indicated that “rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places.”



The bulletin also mentioned that day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged across the country. The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi, while today’s minimum temperature was noted at 18.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia under the Rangpur division.



Additionally, the bulletin provided details about the sunset and sunrise times, stating that the sun will set at 6.17 pm today and is expected to rise at 5.45 am tomorrow in the capital.
