Bangkok: Bangladesh are gearing up to face China in their second group match of the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, tomorrow. The match follows a disappointing defeat against Thailand and is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm Bangladesh time, with a live stream available on T-sports.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh team completed their training session at Alpine Training Camp (Pitch 2) in Bangkok. Despite challenging weather conditions, the head coach led a focused 75-minute session. This training included structured warm-ups, passing drills, and an intra-squad practice match to simulate game scenarios. The coaching staff emphasized improving areas identified as weak points in the previous match.
The session also included set-piece training, targeting both offensive and defensive strategies from various field positions. Head Coach Peter Butler conducted an on-field discussion, where he highlighted lessons learned from the last match and discussed necessary tactical adjustments for the game against China PR.
