Dhaka: The Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board has mandated the installation of CCTV cameras at all Dakhil examination centres to ensure fair, malpractice-free, and peaceful conduct of this year’s exams. The directive, aimed at enhancing transparency and integrity during the exams, was communicated through a notice signed by Controller of Examinations Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the notice requires all centre secretaries under the board to implement the CCTV installation immediately. The video footage captured during the examinations must be preserved and submitted to the board every seven days via email to both the Controller of Examinations and the Deputy Controller of Examinations (Exam).
The board emphasized the urgency of the matter, distributing copies of the directive to the concerned Deputy Commissioners, Upazila Nirbahi Officers, District Education Officers, and Heads of madrasahs to ensure proper implementation. This step is part of the board’s broader efforts to maintain the integrity of the examination process and prevent any form of malpractice.
