Khulna: Financial assistance was distributed among 188 people, including July fighters, in Khulna today. Divisional Commissioner Md Mokhtar Ahmed distributed the aid during an event held at his office this afternoon.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Divisional Commissioner highlighted that the government provides this financial assistance annually to support helpless and underprivileged people. He expressed hope that this support would bring some relief to the families ahead of the upcoming Eid.
A total of Taka 18.72 lakh was distributed among the 188 beneficiaries. The event was attended by senior officials of the administration.
