Dhaka: Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Md Selim Fakir has been appointed as the Registrar and Director General (DG) of the Directorate of Cooperatives today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a gazette notification from the Public Administration Ministry, signed by its Deputy Secretary Deputation-1 Mohammad Nur-a-Alam, confirmed the appointment. The government has transferred Md Selim Fakir to the Ministry of Rural Development and Cooperatives to assume his new role as Registrar and Director General of the Directorate of Cooperatives.
