Dhaka: On International Women’s Day, the German Embassy in Dhaka reaffirmed that human rights are not a limited resource and they do not shrink when shared. ‘If women enjoy 100% of their rights, it benefits 100% of humanity,’ stated the Embassy in a message.
According to United News of Bangladesh, advancing gender equality is essential for democracy, development, and peace, as highlighted by Germany. The country expressed its commitment to remaining a steadfast partner for women’s rights within the EU, the UN, and worldwide.
