Tehran: The US and Israel have intensified their military operations against Iran by targeting oil storage depots and refining facilities in Tehran. The strikes have led to significant fires throughout the capital, marking the first time these specific targets have been attacked.
According to United News of Bangladesh, an Iranian drone has caused material damage to a water desalination plant in Bahrain. The country’s Interior Ministry reported the attack, which follows Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s accusation that the US previously bombed a freshwater desalination plant on Qeshm Island in southern Iran, an act he claims sets a ‘precedent.’
Subsequent to these events, regional tensions have escalated with Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates reporting additional Iranian attacks. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued an apology for these actions, promising to cease attacks on Gulf states, provided they do not initiate strikes from their territories.
Authorities are keeping a close watch on the unfolding situation, and casualty figures from the region are being continuously updated.
