Dhaka: Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan formally inaugurated the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) at BAF Base Bashar at Tejgaon in Dhaka Cantonment today. Speaking on the occasion, the air chief highlighted the commencement of this institution as a pivotal step for the coordination of training and the formulation of doctrine and tactics for the Air Force.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan emphasized the importance of having a planned and updated training institution and military education system. This, he stated, is crucial for keeping the BAF strategically effective. The TRADOC will operate directly under the Chief of Air Staff, ensuring strategic alignment, timely policy guidance, and effective coordination with relevant directorates of the Air Headquarters in planning, operations, training, and evaluation.
The establishment of TRADOC, with its motto “Transformation through Wisdom,” is expected to play a key role in supervising and controlling all BAF training. It will be responsible for formulating and updating doctrine and tactics to achieve operational excellence and develop the force into a modern one.
The event was attended by Principal Staff Officers of the Air Headquarters, Air Commanders of Air Force Base Bashar and Base AK Khandaker, TRADOC Commandant, Directors of the Air Headquarters, and other concerned officials.
