Dhaka: Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku announced that the government is prioritizing uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramadan. He emphasized the need for full cooperation from all stakeholders to maintain a smooth electricity supply during this period.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the minister addressed officials in a meeting held at the ministry’s conference room. He stressed that ensuring uninterrupted power supply is currently the government’s highest priority due to increasing demand. Despite the government’s efforts, he acknowledged that minor load shedding might occur due to technical reasons.
