Dhaka: At least 60 leaders and activists, led by the convener, member secretary, and chief organiser of the Gulshan Thana unit of ‘Jatiya Chhatrashakti’ and ‘Boishommo Birodhi Chhatra Andolon (Anti-Discrimination Student Movement)’, have joined the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chatro Dal. They marked their inclusion by presenting flowers to Chatro Dal President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir at a ceremony held in Gulshan today.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, among the prominent figures joining the Chatro Dal are Convener Mohammad Ziyad, Member Secretary Sajib Sardar Nihal, and Chief Organizer Mehedi Hasan Arafat. Other notable attendees included Senior Joint Convener Md. Sabir Ahmed and Co-Spokesperson Sayem Dewan.
Additionally, Joint Member Secretary Md. Zahirul Islam, along with organizers Mohammad Tamim Islam, Tamim Mahmud Mashrur, Senior Organizer Ridwan Hossain Afnan, and Joint Convener Bikram Kumar Alok, were present at the event. The move signifies a significant shift within the student political landscape, as these leaders bring their experience and influence to the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chatro Dal.
