Sarda: The passing out parade of the 169th Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) batch was held today at the Bangladesh Police Academy (BPA) parade ground in Sarda, Rajshahi. BPA Principal Tawfik Mahbub Chowdhury presided over the ceremony as the chief guest and urged the newly recruited constables to serve the community with dedication.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Tawfik Mahbub Chowdhury encouraged the TRCs to utilize the knowledge gained during their training at the police academy, emphasizing the importance of performing their duties with dedication and honesty. He highlighted the need for continuous personal development through regular practice, pursuit of knowledge, and learning from real-life experiences.
Congratulating the trainees on starting their professional careers, Chowdhury noted the significance of completing the four-month basic training that commenced on 6 October 2025. He expressed confidence that the legal knowledge and policing techniques acquired during their time at the Bangladesh Police Academy would lead to successful careers.
The chief guest reiterated the academy’s commitment to quality training under the motto ‘Quality Training, Best Service’ and praised the efficient conduct of training programs. At the ceremony’s outset, Chowdhury took the salute and inspected the parade, later distributing awards and certificates to outstanding trainee constables.
The event was attended by senior police officials, military and civilian officers, family members of the TRCs, local dignitaries, and media representatives, marking it as a significant milestone for the new recruits.
