Dhaka: A delegation of ethnic minority representatives paid a courtesy call on BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman tonight. The meeting took place at the BNP Chairman's political office in Gulshan around 9:00 pm, as stated by BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the meeting, Tarique Rahman exchanged greetings with the ethnic minority delegation. As a gesture of goodwill, the representatives presented him with traditional hill attire. This exchange highlighted the ongoing efforts to foster collaboration and understanding between the BNP and ethnic minority communities.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was also present at the meeting, underscoring the importance of the engagement with ethnic minority groups. This meeting is part of the BNP's broader strategy to connect with various communities and address their concerns.
