Bagerhat: The District Information Office (DIO) has initiated a road campaign in Bagerhat to raise awareness among voters about the upcoming Jatiya Sangsad election and Referendum. The campaign aims to inform and encourage the general public to participate actively in the electoral process.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DIO conducted the campaign at Shatgumbaj Union, starting from Hazrat Khanjahan Ali Mazar, to motivate voters to visit polling stations. District Information Officer Muinul Islam supervised the campaign, emphasizing the significance of the forthcoming national election and Referendum for the country’s democratic process.
The campaign message conveyed that the government is committed to ensuring the election is conducted in a free, fair, and impartial manner. The Directorate of Information is working diligently to educate voters about election laws and regulations and to counter misinformation.
Muinul Islam expressed hope that the collaborative efforts of the media, civil society, and candidates would contribute to making the elections both festive and peaceful.
