Rosatom Technical Academy Hosts Internship for Global Nuclear Technology Specialists

Moscow: Rosatom Technical Academy has recently organized an internship program for young foreign specialists in nuclear technologies, as announced in a message received today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the ‘InteRussia’ internship was executed with the support of Russia’s State Atomic Energy Corporation, Rosatom. The program attracted young professionals from various countries, including Bolivia, Ethiopia, India, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. It focused on providing a comprehensive understanding of Russian nuclear technologies and their applications across energy, medicine, agriculture, and industry.



The statement further highlighted that several young nuclear specialists from Bangladesh had previously received training at Rosatom Technical Academy. Many of these specialists are now employed at the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant in Pabna.



During the internship, participants learned about the fundamental principles of developing national positions in the nuclear sector. They explored modern methods and tools for effective energy planning, as well as discussed technological solutions and operational issues related to both large-capacity nuclear power plants and small modular reactors.
