Dhaka: Chairman of the National River Conservation Commission Maksumul Hakim Chaudhury has been promoted to the rank of senior secretary. The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding this change, signed by Deputy Secretary Mohammad Rafiqul Haque.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Chaudhury was previously serving as the Chairman of the River Conservation Commission on a contractual basis at the rank of secretary. With this promotion, he now holds the position of senior secretary and continues to serve as the chairman of the commission.
