Dhaka: The Rokeya Hall branch of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal’s Dhaka University (DU) unit today held a doa mahfil seeking speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. The doa mahfil was held after the Asr prayer at the hall premises.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rokeya Hall Chhatra Dal convener Srabani Akhter chaired the gathering. At the beginning of the programme, she discussed Begum Zia’s political life, works, and struggle.
Dhaka University Chhatra Dal assistant general secretary Ayesha Moni administered the doa and munajat. Among others, hall Chhatra Dal senior joint convener Srabanti Hasan Bonnya and joint convener Sakiba Sultana were present.
