Dhaka: The Victory Day Handball competition for both men’s and women’s categories is set to commence at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital on Saturday, December 13. This event is organized to commemorate Victory Day.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bangladesh Handball Federation treasurer Md Khaled Anwar is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest. The competition will see participation from four teams in each category, all organized by the Bangladesh Handball Federation.
The men’s competition will feature teams from Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, and Team Handball Dhaka. The women’s teams will include Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Border Guard Bangladesh, and Farque Tomal Sports Academy.
