Dhaka: BNP standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed announced that the party's acting chairman, Tarique Rahman, will return to the country soon. He shared this information while speaking to journalists after a meeting of the BNP's national standing committee at the party chairperson's office in Gulshan.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Salahuddin Ahmed described the meeting as a routine session. The committee discussed the country's political situation, strategies for the upcoming elections, and their election campaign. The discussions were consistent with the topics covered in their regular meetings.
Salahuddin also addressed questions regarding BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's health, stating that Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain possesses all the relevant information and will provide a media briefing on the matter.
