Milad and Doa Mahfil Conducted for Khaleda Zia’s Recovery at Ancestral Home

Feni: A Quran Khwani, Milad, and Doa Mahfil were held on Tuesday afternoon at the ancestral home of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia for her speedy recovery. The event took place in Dakshin Sreepur Majumdar village of Fulgazi upazila and was presided over by Fulgazi Upazila BNP Convener Fakhrul Alam Swapan, with Upazila BNP Member Secretary Abul Hossain organizing the gathering.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP Convener and Feni-1 Organizational Coordinator Rafiqul Alam Majnu attended the event as the chief guest. In attendance were BNP Central Committee member Abu Taleb, Feni District BNP Convener Sheikh Farid Bahar, Associate Professor MA Khalek, and a number of other prominent BNP leaders from various units, including Chhagalnaiya and Sonagazi.

Family members of Begum Zia, including her cousins Zahid Hossain Majumder and Shamim Hossain Majumder, participated in the prayers and munajat, representing the family. The munajat was led by Jamal Uddin Khandaker, President of the district Ulama Dal.
