Khulna: The first-year admission test for B.Sc. Engineering, BURP, and B.Arch programmes at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) for the 2025-2026 academic session is scheduled for January 15, 2026.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the written examination will take place from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, with a subsequent freehand drawing test for B.Arch candidates from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm. KUET plans to admit a total of 1,065 students across 16 departments within the Faculties of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The university will allow a maximum of 12,000 applicants to participate in the admission test.
Prospective students can submit their applications online from December 3 to December 13, 2025, with the initial payment deadline for application verification and shortlisting set for December 14, 2025. The list of candidates eligible to take the admission test will be published on December 20, 2025. For confirmed participation, the second-phase payment deadline is December 30, 2025, and admit cards will be available for download starting January 5, 2026.
On February 1, 2026, KUET will announce the merit list of candidates. This announcement will include instructions for department choice submission, as well as admission rules and the final admission schedule.
