Dhaka: Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam today clarified that the government holds no restrictions or objections concerning the return of BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to the country.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Shafiqul Alam addressed inquiries regarding Tarique Rahman's remarks about his return, stating that the opportunity for Rahman's immediate return is not solely within his control. Alam emphasized, "The government has no restrictions or objections of any kind in this regard."
Furthermore, the Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, has expressed deep concern over the health condition of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia. Shafiqul Alam conveyed that the Chief Adviser is seeking prayers from the public for her quick recovery.
