Chongqing: Motivated Bangladesh U-17 national football team take on Bahrain in their fourth group match of the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup qualifiers scheduled to be held at Tongliang Long Stadium, Chongqing, China today (Friday). The match kicks off at 1 pm Bangladesh time.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Bangladesh made a strong start in the tournament by defeating Timor-Leste with a commanding 5-0 victory in their opening group A match. They then continued their momentum by overpowering Brunei with an 8-0 win in their second match. The team maintained their form with another 5-0 victory over Sri Lanka in their third match.
Bangladesh is set to play their last group match against host China on November 30. Seven group champions will secure places in the 16-team finals, joining hosts Saudi Arabia and eight other nations who have already qualified for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
