According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the persecuted leaders and activists were welcomed with flowers and awarded honorary crests. In a touching tribute, Saching Pru Jerry also presented honorary crests to the mothers of five leaders and activists who passed away due to illness.

The program was attended by several prominent BNP leaders, including Professor Md. Osman Gani, Mujibur Rashid, Abdul Mabud, Mashiur Rahman Mithun, Jahangir Alam, and various district and upazila leaders. Saching Pru Jerry emphasized the unity of the BNP under the leadership of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. He urged supporters to set aside divisions and strive for the victory of the Sheaf of Paddy, while acknowledging the sacrifices of those who endured oppression and torture, describing them as the lifeblood of the BNP.
