Gazipur: A woman was killed in a road accident in the Tangi Hossain Market area of the district today. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. The accident occurred when a speeding bus crushed her while she was trying to cross the road.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, police recovered the body from the spot. However, the driver of the bus managed to flee from the scene.
