Dhaka: The verdict in the crimes against humanity case, related to the July-August 2024 mass uprising, involving ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and two others, is set to be delivered today. The Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) has taken the initiative to broadcast the event live from 11:00 am on a large screen at the Payra Chattar adjacent to Dhaka University’s TSC.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Ministry of Cultural Affairs has also arranged for similar large-screen broadcasts at several locations across Dhaka to facilitate broader public viewing. This historic verdict is being shared live worldwide, thanks to the cooperation of Bangladesh Television (BTV).
