Mirpur: Students will get a free entry to the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket stadium during the second and final Test between Bangladesh and Ireland, starting tomorrow (Wednesday). The Test marks the 100th Test appearance of Mushfiqur Rahim as the first Bangladeshi cricketer.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has taken the initiative to encourage greater youth involvement in Test cricket to make the occasion more memorable. The BCB press release stated that students and teachers from schools, colleges, universities, and madrassas will be allowed to watch the match from the Shaheed Mushtaq Stand (Upper Gallery) by showing their valid ID cards at the gate.
Entry for the designated group will be facilitated through Gate No. 5, the board also confirmed. However, spectators must follow standard security protocols. The BCB reminded attendees that carrying bags, outside food, water bottles, or any restricted items is not permitted inside the stadium.
