Dhaka: The AB Party has hailed the death sentence of Sheikh Hasina as “a complete vindication of the history of the victory of the oppressed against the exploiter.” The statement underscores the party’s view that justice has been served for those who have long suffered under oppression.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, AB Party Chairman Mujibur Rahman Manju expressed that the moral narratives upheld over time have been validated by this judicial outcome. He emphasized that history has a way of revisiting not just the oppressors of past eras but also warns those who may face oppression in the future.

Manju further stated that the decision has renewed the public’s belief in the pursuit of justice and truth. He believes this development will bolster the country’s political culture and reinforce the stream of justice, setting a precedent for future governance and legal proceedings.
