Dhaka: The government has announced the appointment of new divisional commissioners for the Khulna, Rajshahi, Barishal, and Mymensingh divisions. This significant administrative reshuffle was confirmed by a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration. According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the current Mymensingh Divisional Commissioner, Md. Mokhter Ahmed, has been reassigned to Khulna. Dr. A.N.M. Bazlur Rashid, who serves as an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Water Resources, has been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner of Rajshahi. Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Land, will assume the role of Divisional Commissioner of Barishal. Farah Shammi, who is currently the Chairman of the Bangladesh Fisheries Development Corporation, has been designated as the Divisional Commissioner of Mymensingh.
