Jenaidah: Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman today stated that the leading forces of the July revolution will chart the future course of Bangladesh. "The winners of the Liberation War of 1972 made the constitution. The winner forces of 1990 retrieved the democratic system in the country and the same way the winner forces of the July mass uprising will determine how would be the upcoming referendum. So, the leading forces of July revolution will determine the pathway of the future Bangladesh," he remarked.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the attorney general made these comments while acting as the chief guest at a discussion and cultural function commemorating the birth and death anniversary of Poet Golam Mostafa. The event was held at Manoharpur village in Shailakupa upazila under Jenaidah district this afternoon.
In his address to the journalists after the event, the attorney general emphasized that the Awami League is a banned party, and any activities or programs conducted under its banner would be considered criminal acts.
