Remittance Inflow Sees Significant 56.6% Growth in Early November

Dhaka: Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 56.6 percent reaching $461 million in the first four days of November, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $295 million. This notable increase highlights a robust rise in financial contributions from expatriates.

During the period from July to November 4, 2025, of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances totaling $10,610 million. In comparison, the same period of the previous fiscal year saw remittances amounting to $9,232 million. This upward trend in remittance inflow marks a positive development in the country's economic scenario.
