Bandarban: The much-anticipated Cute 1st Division Men's Handball League is scheduled to kick off tomorrow at the Bandarban district stadium. Bandarban district Deputy Commissioner and sports association president Shamim Ara Rini is expected to inaugurate the event as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the inauguration ceremony will feature a rally and will be attended by the Cute district league handball coordinator and Bangladesh Handball Federation technical committee's joint member secretary, Sayeed Ahmed. The league is organized by the Bangladesh Handball Federation and sponsored by Moushumi Industries Limited.
Eight teams, divided into two groups, will compete in this year's league. Group A consists of Little Star Club, Team One, Young Staar Jubo Sangha, and Kalghata GTL Sports Club. Group B includes Jatidut Jubo Sangha, Bandarban Soccer Sports Club, Mro Residential High School, and Ujanipara Boys Club.
