New Political Party BUP Launched with 18 Goals and Objectives

Dhaka: A new political party named Bangladesh United Party (BUP) has been officially formed. The announcement was made during a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BUP has been established with 18 specific goals and objectives, with Zakir Hossain Pradhaniya serving as its chairman. During the press conference, Pradhaniya outlined the main goals of the party, which include institutionalizing democracy in Bangladesh, ensuring the rights of the people, establishing economic balance, and upholding the rule of law. The party also aims to contribute to the formation of a developed and modern state.



The BUP’s objectives further emphasize the preservation, evaluation, and protection of the history of the Liberation War of 1971 and the recognition of freedom fighters. The party intends to properly honor the July fighters, martyrs, and the injured of the 24th, ensuring their due dignity. Additionally, the BUP seeks to ensure the independence of the judiciary and to develop a modern and up-to-date courthouse system.
