Lalmonirhat: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 seized 637 bottles of ESKuf and 4.15 kilograms of ganja and arrested an alleged drug peddler from Purba Kadma village under Hatibandha police station of Lalmonirhat today. Acting on a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-13’s Sadar Company conducted a raid in the village and arrested the man with huge contraband drugs from his bedroom at 8 am on Tuesday, a press release said this evening.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the arrestee was identified as Md Mashiur Rahman, 22, son of Md Ayub Ali of the same village, the press release said. After filing a case in this connection, the elite force handed over the arrested person with the seized drugs to Hatibandha police station in Lalmonirhat district for further legal action.
