Dhaka: Islami Andolon Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim today claimed that there are ongoing efforts to create unrest in the country by inciting religious issues. He addressed this concern during a monthly meeting of the party, as mentioned in a press release.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Rezaul Karim emphasized the existence of a conspiracy against the nation, stating that "evil efforts are underway to create unrest in the country." He urged the government to remain vigilant about such conspiracies that threaten national stability.
Rezaul Karim also called for justice regarding the mass killing during the July mass uprising. He insisted that those responsible for fascism-related acts must be held accountable. Furthermore, he demanded that the implementation method for the July Charter be expedited to address underlying issues swiftly.
The meeting was attended by key party figures, including Secretary General Mawlana Yunus Ahmed, Joint Secretaries General Mawlana Gazi Ataur Rahman, Engineer Muhammad Ashraful Alam, and Hafez Mawlana Fazle Bari Masud.
