Dhaka: A total of 7917 candidates have successfully passed the lawyer’s enrolment examination conducted by the Bangladesh Bar Council, official sources announced today. The announcement marks a significant milestone for the aspiring legal professionals who sat for the exam.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the results were published on the Bar Council’s website by District and Sessions Judge Mohammad Kamal Hossain Shikdar, who serves as the Secretary of the legal regulatory body. The examination took place in Dhaka on June 28, and the publication of the results provides clarity and direction for the candidates who have been eagerly awaiting the outcome.
The Secretary further stated that the successful candidates will be required to participate in a subsequent viva. The schedule for this oral examination will be announced at a later date. To be certified as a lawyer, candidates must clear all three levels of the examination process, underscoring the rigorous standards upheld by the Bar Council.
