Jhalakathi: A man lost his life in a tragic road accident in the Nalbunia area under Rajapur upazila. The incident occurred on the Rajapur-Bhandaria highway when a bus named 'Hamim Paribahan' collided with a motorcycle.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the victim was identified as Nasim Uddin Akon, who was a resident of Rajapur upazila in Jhalakathi district. The accident took place around 12 noon, critically injuring Nasim as the bus hit his motorcycle from behind, as reported by Ismail Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Rajapur Police Station.
Nasim Uddin Akon succumbed to his injuries while being transported to Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital. The details surrounding the accident are still under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the cause of the collision.
