Dhaka: The government has initiated cargo clearance operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) using temporary measures to manage the flow of goods effectively.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has temporarily allocated the GSE maintenance area for the storage of goods to facilitate this important operation. Customs authorities are actively making use of this newly designated area to ensure smooth cargo clearance processes.
For goods clearance procedures, customs officials have successfully established a connection for the ASYCUDA WORLD system at Gate No. 9. The clearance process is completed after conducting the necessary physical inspections of the goods, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met.
