Khaleda Zia’s Physical Condition Stable Now: Dr. Zahid

Dhaka: BNP standing committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain today stated that the physical condition of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia is currently stable. Dr. Zahid shared this information with journalists after placing a floral wreath at the grave of BNP Founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman along with leaders and activists of the Diploma Association of Bangladesh in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the city.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Dr. Zahid mentioned that Khaleda Zia’s condition has improved compared to when she was initially admitted to the hospital. He added that she would return home after undergoing other necessary medical tests and following the decision of her medical board.



The BNP Chairperson was admitted to Evercare Hospital on Wednesday night for her routine health check-ups. Khaleda Zia, aged seventy-nine, has been suffering from a range of health complications, including arthritis, diabetes, and issues related to her kidneys, lungs, and eyes.
