Dhaka: Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sheikh Md Sazzad Ali today inaugurated the outdoor facilities of the central police hospital, aimed at providing treatment to police members and their families working at Mirpur Public Order Management (POM).
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the inaugural function took place at the POM police lines in Mirpur. These facilities have been launched under the supervision of DMP's additional police commissioner M Sarwar, with overall assistance from the central police hospital.
The DMP commissioner highlighted during the inaugural function that these treatment facilities will help reduce patient pressure at the central police hospital. He noted that police members can now access physician consultations and have necessary samples collected for diagnosis.
Other provisions include the supply of necessary medicines, physiotherapy, and observation facilities as per government regulations, as stated in a DMP release today. Several high-ranking DMP officials were present during the opening ceremony.
