Labor Party Officially Registered with Bangladesh Election Commission

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Labour Party has been officially registered with the Election Commission (EC) following a court order. Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed announced the registration, stating that the decision was made in accordance with the provisions of the Representation of the People Order (RPO). This move follows a judgment and order dated May 29 from the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Labour Party, situated at Head Office: 85/1 Nayapaltan, Mosque Street (Third Floor), Dhaka-1000, has been officially recognized as a political party. The registration marks a significant development in the political landscape of Bangladesh, ensuring the Labour Party's participation in future electoral processes.
