Light to Moderate Rain Expected Across Bangladesh

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted that light to moderate rain and thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds, are likely to occur in various parts of the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00 am today.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD bulletin issued this morning indicated that regions such as Khulna, Barishal, and Chattogram divisions might experience these weather conditions. In addition, similar weather is anticipated at one or two places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. The forecast also mentions the possibility of moderate heavy falls in certain areas.



The meteorological department has predicted that both day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country. The bulletin further highlighted that the monsoon is currently less active over Bangladesh and is moderate over the North Bay.



On the previous day, the highest temperature was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius in the Rajarhat station, while the lowest was 23.2 degrees Celsius in the Bandarban station. In Dhaka, the sunset is expected at 5:52 pm today, with the sunrise scheduled for 5:49 am tomorrow.
