Chuadanga: The World Tourism Day was observed in Chuadanga district as different government and non-government organizations arranged elaborate programmes. To mark the day, a rally was brought out from the District Commissioner's office and it paraded through different streets of the district town.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a discussion was held in the conference room of the District Commissioner's office following the rally. The meeting was chaired by Additional District Commissioner, Ahmed Mahbub Ul Islam. During the discussions, speakers highlighted various tourist spots in the district, emphasizing the potential of Chuadanga as a tourist hub and urging relevant organizations to enhance these sites to attract more visitors.
The scenic attractions mentioned include DC Eco-Park, Alamdanga Bodhyobhumi, as well as various haors, baors, and Aat Chala Ghar. Aat Chala Ghar is notably linked to the memory of the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, which could serve as a captivating tourist destination.
The event saw the participation of several dignitaries, including Assistant Commissioner Ashfaqur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi official M Saifullah, teachers, students, and representatives from the district administration and tourism sector.
