Nine Bangladesh Ansar Directors Reassigned to New Posts

Dhaka: The Home Ministry today announced the transfer of nine Directors within the Bangladesh Ansar, a move that requires them to assume their new responsibilities immediately.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the notification from the Home Ministry detailed the new assignments: Taksin Ara, previously the Director of the 1st Women Ansar Battalion at Ansar Academy Shafipur, Gazipur, will now serve as the Director of the 2nd Ansar Battalion in Gopalganj. Md Kamrul Islam, formerly leading the 11th Ansar Battalion in Khagrachhari, is now posted to Cox’s Bazar as its Director. Md Aiyub Ali, who was with the 25th Battalion in Madaripur, has been reassigned to the Ansar Guard Battalion in Bhatara, Dhaka.



Dewan Matlubur Rahman, the former Director of the 27th Ansar Battalion at Shafipur Ansar and VDP Academy, has been appointed to lead the 11th Ansar Battalion in Khagrachhari. Enamul Khan, who directed the 24th Ansar Battalion in Srimongal, Maulavi Bazar, is now tasked with overseeing the Ansar and VDP Sylhet range.



Further reshuffling includes Rajib Hussain, who moves from the 1st Ansar Battalion in Cox’s Bazar to the 21st Ansar Battalion in Nababganj, Dhaka. Md Selimuzzaman, previously directing the Ansar and VDP Sylhet range, will now lead the 21st Battalion at Kolakopa, Nababganj. Shuvro Chowdhury transitions from the 16th Battalion in Bandarban to the 25th Battalion in Madaripur, while Farzana Akhter Dalia takes over as Director of the 1st Women Ansar Battalion at the Ansar-VDP Academy in Shafipur, Gazipur.
