Meherpur: The monthly meeting of the Law and Order Committee was held today aiming to review security issues for ensuring a peaceful atmosphere in the Meherpur district. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr. Mohammad Abdul Salam presided over the meeting held in the conference room of his office.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Manzoor Ahmed, Additional District Magistrate Tajwar Akram Sakapi, Public Prosecutor Saidur Razzak Toton, and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Khairul Islam were among the attendees. The meeting also included teachers and representatives from various government and non-government organizations.
The DC stated, "We are discussing different issues related to law and order situation... local administration along with professionals and representatives of different organizations will work together for maintaining overall law and order situation."
